Dr. Stewart McKee returned yesterday from a trip through Texas where he has been looking over the ground with an idea of purchasing a sanitarium. The doctor says he found an ideal spot at Alamo Beach and accordingly closed the deal at once. He will leave Leavenworth as soon as he can close up his business affairs here. His family will not join him until some time during the winter. In talking about his new venture, the doctor said:

"Alamo Beach is just an ideal spot for a sanitarium. It is the only point along the coast that has any elevation, being located on the top of a cliff. The last morning I was there I waded out into the gulf and brought in enough oysters for breakfast and they were all bigger than my hand, too."

There is plenty of flounder fishing in the vicinity and the doctor yesterday was exploiting the fine duck shooting down there to Adolf Lange, using a postal card showing a day's sport of some twenty or thirty brace, to prove his point.
