Eagle[sic], a village in the southwestern part of Miami county, is on the Missouri, Kansas & Texas R. R. about 15 miles southwest of Paola, the county seat. It has a money order postoffice, telegraph and express offices and a good local retail trade. In 1910 the population, according to the U. S. census, was 180.
