Faulkner, a village of Cherokee county, is situated in Neosho township, and is a station on the Missouri Pacific R. R. about 11 miles southwest of Columbus, the county seat. It has a money order postoffice with one rural route, telegraph and express service, telephone connections, some good general stores, and is a trading and shipping point for that portion of the county. The population in 1910 was 75.
