Kalvesta, a country postoffice in Finney county, is located in Garfield township, 32 miles northeast of Garden City, the county seat, and 20 miles north of Cimarron, the nearest shipping point. It has a general store and a tri-weekly stage to Dodge City, 34 miles to the southeast. The population in 1910 was 25.
