Neal, one of the larger villages of Greenwood county, is a station on the Missouri Pacific R. R. in Quincy township, 12 miles east of Eureka, the county seat. All the main lines of business enterprise are represented. There are express and telegraph offices and a money order postoffice with one rural route. The population in 1910 was 150.
