Peterton, a village in Osage county, is a station on the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe R. R. 4 miles north of Osage City, whence it receives mail by ruarl[sic] route, and 10 miles northwest of Lyndon, the county seat. It has telegraph and express offices, and the population according to the census of 1910 was 225.
