Waldron, one of the incorporated towns of Harper county, is a station on the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific and the Kansas City, Mexico & Orient railroads, and is located 14 miles southwest of Anthony. It has a number of retail stores, a bank, a weekly newspaper (the Argus), telegraph and express offices, and a money order postoffice. The population according to the census of 1910 was 262.
