Obituary of MILDRED PAULINE McADAM |
The entire community was shocked Friday
morning when it became known that Pauline McAdam had passed away. While
she had been ill for a long time she was thought to be getting along
nicely until Thursday. She was a sweet child with a sunny disposition and
will be much missed, not only by her loved ones, but the Sunday school and
school and by all who knew her. Mildred Pauline McAdam, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moreland M. McAdam, was born near Bush City, September 10, 1912, and died at her home in Mildred, May 23, 1924, at the age of 11 years, 7 months, and 13 days. She leaves her father and mother, her little sister, Dorothy, her grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends who said. "Suffer the little children to come unto Me for of such is the kingdom of heaven". The funeral service was conducted at the home, Sunday afternoon, by Rev. Garretson, and she was laid to rest in Fairview cemetery. Tom McAdam of Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Whitebread of Humbolt, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gibbs of Blue Mound, Mrs. and Mrs. Harry LaMunyon, Mrs. Belle Norton of Kirksville, Missouri, and Floyd McGinniss of Bush City were among those from away who were here for the funeral. |
