Obituary of WALTER L. G. BUCK |
WALTER L. G. BUCK DEAD Walter L. G BUCK, 64, of Madison, died Saturday (Feb. 27), afternoon at 1 o’clock in the Newman Memorial County hospital, Emporia. Mr. BUCK, was born July 21, 1878, in Madison. He was a son of the late Darius BUCK and Harriet TRIGGS BUCK. Recently Mr. BUCK resided at the Harry WILSON farm, five miles southwest of Emporia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Cranor funeral home, Emporia, and at 2:30 o’clock at the Church of the Brethren, south of Olpe. Rev. Wilmer LEHMAN, pastor of the church of the Brethren, will conduct both services.. The casket will be open at the Cranor Funeral home, in Emporia, Wednesday morning, until time for the services. Mr. BUCK never was married. Survived by two sisters, Mrs. Arvilda JOHNSON, and Mrs. Mary MATILE, both of Madison; three brothers, Harry I. BUCK, Route 1, Emporia; Albert C. BUCK, of Leoti, Kan.; Willis S. BUCK, of Yakima, Wash.; and by several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. |
