Obituary of J. W. WILSON |
The funeral of J. W. Wilson, who died of heart disease at 3 o'clock Sunday morning, will take place from the M. E. Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The deceased was born in Crawfordville, Indiana, March 11, 1831, and at the time of
his death was within a few days of 55 yrs. of age. He removed from this city in the fall of 1876 and has been actively engaged in business here ever since up to within a few months of his death, when his failing health forced him to retire. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and of the Order of Red Men, the Odd Fellows and the Knights and Ladies of Honor, and was a most estimable citizen. He leaves a wife and 3 daughters, the children all married. |
