NAME, DATE OF DEATH: Beulah F. Atkinson, 94, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at the Prairie Senior Living Complex, Colby, Kansas

DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: She was born Aug. 4, 1906, in Atwood, Kansas

PARENTS: Melvin H. and Flora Ellen (Ward) Standley

SURVIVORS: A son, Stan, Fort Collins, Colo.; a sister, Verna Dell Crouse, Oakley; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Her husband, Bailey O. Atkinson, a son, Gale, a daughter, Joy Barlow, two brothers, Ray Standley and Aubrey Standley, and three sisters, Hazel Cook, Daisy Latham and Lila Penn.
