DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: He was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Colby, Kansas PARENTS: Charles Vernor and Thelma Irene (Walker) Fechner SURVIVORS: His wife, Linda Elaine Fechner, Oakley; a son, Donald Jr., Goodland; a daughter, Melinda Enfield, Colby; a brother, Bill Fechner, Bristow, Okla.; three sisters, Darlene Wright, Aurora, Colo., Joyce Nye, Oklahoma City, and Joellen Schaffer, Liberal; and four grandchildren. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Two sisters, Betty Tillotson and Janice Dreher. |
