Obituary of CHARLES "CHUCK" LAMOREUX |
Charles "Chuck" Lamoreux, 78, Shawnee, died April 9,
2002. He was born May 13, 1923, in Oakley, to Drew and Frances Lamoreux. Chuck graduated from Hays High School and attended Fort Hays State
University. In 1945, he married Doris Peirano. They operated Lamoreux Motors Dealership in Stockton before moving to Shawnee in 1960. They were independent newspaper carriers of the Kansas City Star for 20 years and retired during the 1980's. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his siblings; and his wife, Doris. Survivors include: his children and their spouses, Gary and Robbie Lamoreux, Baldwin, Sherry and Mark Humphrey, Stilwell, and Clark and Kristi Lamoreux, Kansas City, Missouri; and eight grandchildren. The funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. on April 12 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Shawnee. Entombment was in Resurrection Mausoleum. |
