Obituary of NORMA JEAN GEIST

NAME, DATE OF DEATH: Norma Jean Geist, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at the Logan County Hospital.

DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: April 28, 1926, in Panama, Ill

PARENTS: William and Grace (Dillbeck) Kohler

SURVIVORS: Three sons, Jim, Oakley, Bob, Colby, and David, Dodge City; three daughters, Kathy Wilkins, Leoti, Laureen Samaniego, Oklahoma City, and Janice Alvis, Hays; a brother, Lloyd Chase, Shelbyville, Ind.; a sister, Bessie Farr, Garden City; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Her husband, Alvin A. Geist, June 12, 1961, a grandson, and a sister, Dorothy Honeyman.
