Obituary of HELEN R. DUMLER
Helen R. Dumler, 86, Lyons, died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at Lyons District Hospital, Lyons.

She was born April 23, 1915 at Barton County, the daughter of Fred and Mary Steinert Niedens.
Helen was a resident of Lyons for 25 years and was formerly of the Galatia/Milberger area.
She was a homemaker and former custodian for the United Methodist Church, Lyons.
Helen was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bonami Sunday School Class, and U.M.C. Sewing group, all of Lyons.

She married Paul A. Dumler, June 18, 1933 at Milberger. He preceided her in death August 23, 1993.
Helen was preceded in death by: two sisters, Clista Funk and Isabell Schneider; and an infant granddaughter.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lila Nuss, Russell and Mary Jane Hoffman, Lyons; two brothers, L.D. Niedens, Garden City, and Ervin Niedens, Russell; one sister, Alvina Dietz, Great Bend; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at United Methodist Church, Lyons, with Rev. Cindy Watson. Burial will follow at Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons.
Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church, or Lyons District Hospital Swingbed in care of the funeral home.
