DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: June 12, 1915, in Rooks County, Kansas

PARENTS: Fred and Mary Josephine (Meier) Hoff

SURVIVORS: Three sons, Mark, Hill City, Jon and Ralph, Plainville; six daughters, Elizabeth “Betty” Striggow, Rose Hardman, Hill City, Sister Mary Jo Thummel, Gorham, Theresa Kriley, Stockton, May Munk, Hays, and Vera Kruse, Plainville; a brother, Fred Hoff, Hill City; four sisters, Ida Hilgers, Plainville, Catherine Stoeber, Colorado, Anna Veatch, Canyon City, Colo., and Neoma Dantice, California; 22 grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and 29 great-grandchildren

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Her husband, John T. Thummel Jr., a daughter, Grace Irene, two brothers, Ralph and Leo, and two sisters, Irene Kriley and Mary Rempe
