Obituary of ANN LOUISE DAWSON
Anna Louise Dawson, 95, died Monday, October 1, 2001, at Wheatland Nursing Center.

She was born July 8, 1906, at Oakley, the daughter of C.V. Kost and Lititia Isabel Willson Kost.

She married William Arthur Dawson, Feb. 6, 1928. He preceded her in death, January 20, 1962.

Anna lived nearly all her married life in Russell. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, working at the Kansas State Auditors Office in Topeka from 1963 to 1967. Except for the time spent in Topeka, Russell has been her home since her marriage.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church and Order of the Eastern Star, both of Russell.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband; and her infant son, William Arthur Dawson, Jr.,; two brothers Clyde Kenneth and Howard Kemper Kost.

Survivors include: two sons, Harry Kost Dawson, Wamego, and Donald Alan Dawson, Russell; one daughter, Alice Ann Graham, Russell; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, Russell.

Burial will be at Russell City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2 and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to First Congregational Church, or Russell Public Library in care of the mortuary.
