Obituary of EDWARD E. CHRISTIANS |
Edward E. Christians, 82, farmer, oil field and tool
crib employee, died Thursday, January 17, 2002. He farmed for a number of years in the Shannon community of Russell County, leaving there in 1957. Funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, at the First Church of the Nazarene, Newton, with graveside service being held at 3 p.m. at the Hoisington Cemetery. Survivors include: his wife, Allene; three daughters, Joyce Bralnard, Paris, Texas, Sherry Mechels, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Marla McCleskey, Paris, Texas; one brother, Robert of Valley Center; one sister, Myrtle Pitts, Great Bend; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. |
