Obituary of DAVID HERBEL
David Herbel, 40, 1533 N. Grant St., died at about 3:10 a.m. Wednesday (8 August 1984) in Russell City Hospital, about three hours after being admitted. He was victim of an apparent heart attack.

Born on November 17, 1943, Reno, Nev., he spent most of his life in the Russell area. He was a son of Theodore and Elsie Herbel.

Herbel was graduated from high school at Boys Town, Neb. He served two years in the U.S. Air Force, 1967-1969, had been a truck drier and city employee in recent years. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel, Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Elsie Mikulecky, Kanopolis; daughter, Cella Marie Herbel, Russell; brother, Ted Herbel Jr., Russell; two sisters; Peggy Mae Herbel, Russell, and Ruth Elaine Mikulecky, Kanopolis.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 10, in Pohlman's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Nicholson, Calvalry Chapel, officiating. Burial will be in the Russell Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Fund.
