Obituary of DEAN WILLIAM DUMLER
Dean W. Dumler, 58, of Rt. 3, Russell, died Tuesday evening at Russell City Hospital, Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, Russell, the Rev. Herman Frerichs officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial in Mr. Dumler's name has been established with the Russell City Hospital Foundation, Inc.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at Pohlman's Mortuary.

He was born May 21, 1922, in rural Russell. A farmer-stockman, he was a lifetime area resident. He also had oil holdings and formerly worked at the sale barn in Russell.

He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6210, William ___ Post No. 99, the American Legion and the Russell Elks Lodge.

He married Marjorie M. Pope May 23, 1942, at Great Bend.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Judy) Knopp, Wichita, Mrs. John (Cindy) Pitcock, Russell, Mrs. Tom (Bertha) Howard, Okinawa, Japan, and Mrs. Kirk (Christy) Young, of rural Russell, three brothers, Marvin, Walter, and Gerald all of Russell, three sisters, Mrs. Ben (Mildred) Eichman, Russell, Mrs. Bob (Helen) Hunter, Wichita, and Mrs. Vernon (Fern) Shackelford, Russell, and six grandchildren.
