Obituary of EDITH BAY

Edith Bay, 93, longtime Russell resident, died Sunday March 10, 2002, at Wilson.

She was born March 17, 1908, at Russell, the daughter of August and Amalia "Mollie" Strecker.
Edith married David Bay, May 5, 1929, at Russell, He died August 25, 1995.

She was a homemaker and lived nearly all her life in Russell.

Edith as a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Russell.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, brothers, Alex and Edward Strecker, sisters, Caroline Dumler, Elizabeth Wolf, Matilda Ochs Reed, Nina Tittel and Mary Dumler.

Survivors include one sister, Patricia Lappin, Salina; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Russell.

Burial will be at Russell City cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell, and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church in care of the mortuary.
