Funeral Card of ELIZABETH DUMLER
Elizabeth Dumler, daughter of Michael and Mary K. (Steinert) Dumler, was born January 24, 1886, in Russell County, Kansas. She departed this life from an apparent heat attack at the home on January 8, 1972. Her age was 85 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Elizabeth lived her entire life in the Russell area and received her education in the rural schools near Milberger. On May 25, 1905, she was united in marriage to Fred J. Dumler at Russell and this union was blessed with four daughters, Phoebe, Arpha, Evelyn and Violet. The family made their home on a farm north of Russell for a few years and while the children were still small moved to Russell to live. A short time after they moved to the present home where Elizabeth had lived for nearly 50 years.

The lifetime activities of Mrs. Dumler centered around her family and the raising of her children, and the close association she maintained with her grandchildren as they were growing up.

Elizabeth was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the south Milberger Lutheran Church in Russell for many years, but has not been able to be active since she suffered a fractured hip a few years ago.

Those who preceded her in death were her husband Fred J. Dumler who died in 1959, and her parents.

She is survived by her four daughters, Mrs. John (Phoebe) Streck of Russell, Mrs. Paul (Arpha) Klassen of Salina, Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Baker of Arvada, Colorado, and Mrs. Clifford (Violet) Pabitzky of Yuma, Arizona; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
