Obituary of EUGENE H. DIETZ
Eugene H. Dietz, 69, rural Russell, died Thursday, February 28, 2002, at his home.

He was born September 14, 1932, in Russell County, the son of Emil and Ruth Dumler Dietz.

Eugene was a farmer and stockman and lived nearly all his life in the Russell area.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Eugene was preceded in death by: this parents.

Survivors include: one son, James Dietz, Danville, Illinois; two sisters, Merna Holkum, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Dorothy Dolecheck, Hoisington; and two step grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, Russell, with Rev. Harlan Kaden officiating.

Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Russell.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, and 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Fund in care of the mortuary.
