Obituary of FERN MARGARET DUMLER |
Fern Margaret Dumler, 57, widow of the late Elroy G. Dumler, died Thursday, April 12, (1984), in Lawrence. She was born May 30, 1926, to Carl Bloom and Pauline (Milberger) Bloom and had her schooling in Russell. She also attended Brown Mackie School in Salina. She was married April 13, 1948, in Russell. Mr. Dumler died Aug. 27, 1973. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lawrence. She had lived in Lawrence since 1975. Services were at 5 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church in Russell, Rev. Herman Frerichs officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Survivors are a son, Martin E. Dumler, Russell; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Edith) Dreiling, Lawrence, and Mrs. Warren (June) Gfeller, Linwood; and three grandchildren. A memorial will be to St. John Memorial Scholarship Fund here for students of seminary. Pohlman's Mortuary was in charge. |
