Obituary of GEORGE HENRY "HARRY"  KRUG

Krug Services to be Saturday (Died on Sept 5, 1968)
Funeral services for George Henry (Harry) Krug, 90, 207 Kansas St., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the St. John Lutheran Church following a 9:30 a.m. family service in the Deines Brother Funeral Home. Rev. R.G. Sedo will officiate. Burial will be in the Russell Cemetery.

The long-time Russell resident was the last of nine children of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krug. He was born Jan. 24, 1878, on the Krug farm eight miles south of Russell about a year after his parents came to the county from Russia. An older sister and three brothers were born in Russia. Two younger sisters and two brothers were born on the family farm in Russell County.

In failing health for about two years, Mr. Krug had been a resident of the Ala Fern Skilled Nursing Home. His wife, the former, Pauline Dumler, died Dec. 18, 1966.
Survivors are two sons, Albert and Herbert, Russell; five grand children and three great-grandchildren.
