Obituary of HERMAN HEINRICH DUMLER
Herman H. Dumler, 73, brother of Mrs. Charlotte Karst of Hoisington, died Wednesday (28 November 1980) at his home. Born Jan 16, 1907, in Russell, he married Florence M. Welty, June 24, 1928, in Morland. He was a retired Lane County Register of Deeds and operated Dumler Dairy in Dighton. He was a resident of Dighton for 50 years.

Dumler was a member of the First Christian Church and Odd Fellows Lodge of Dighton.

Additional survivors include his wife; one son, Richard H. Dumler of Dighton; one daughter, Mrs. Mona Lea Karl of Dighton; one brother, Alex Dumler, of Russell; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. William Carson officiating. Burial will be in the Dighton Memorial Cemetery with Odd Fellows grave side rites. Friends may call until 9 p.m. Friday at the Niles-Zenor Funeral Home in Dighton. They family suggest memorials to the church.

Burial was in the Dighton Memorial Cemetery. The Oddfellows Lodge of Dighton, of which Mr. Dumler was a 50 year member, conducted grave side rites.  Niles-Zenor Funeral Home in Dighton, was in charge of the arrangements.

The family suggested memorial contributions in Mr. Dumler's name to the First Christian Church, Dighton.
