Obituary of HARRY E. "BUD" HUDNALL |
Harry E. Hudnall, Jr., 73, died Saturday, November 10,
2001, at his home in Russell. He was born August 31, 1928, at Fairport, the son of Hary and Laura Hudnall. "Bud" to his friends and family, Harry grew up in Fairport and graduated from Paradise High School. He was the senior class president of Class of 1946. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1948 and was a veteran of the Korean and
Vietnam Wars. He retired from the Navy as a chief after 20 years of
service to his county. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his wife, Delores Biesterfeld Hudnall. Survivors include: two sons, Gary Dale Hudnall, Sausalito, Calif., and
John Stuart Hudnall, San Leandro, Calif; two daughters, Lola Mae Hudnall,
Hayward, Calif., and Gina Lynne Abercrombie, Livermore, Calif., his first
wife and mother of their children, Frances Marie Ortiz; stepmother, Edna
Mae Hudnall Otte and her husband Orval Otte, Great Bend; one brother,
Harold Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell. Burial will follow at Fairport Cemetery, Fairport. |
