Obituary of JEFFERSON D. LOUDER
Jefferson D. Louder, 79, Russell, died August 13, 2001, at Russell Regional Hospital, Russell.

He was born January 8, 1922 in Lincoln County, the son of Thomas J. and Stella Oriel Peckham Louder.
He married Esther A. Gray on August 3, 1956, at Kansas City, Missouri.

Jeff lived his early life in the Lincoln County community, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and came to Russell after his military service. He owned and operated his own auto repair business at Russell for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Clark, Louis, Roy and Glen Louder; four sisters, Hattie Lessor, Ola Wilbeck, Edith Lessor, and Dortha Lowder.

Survivors include: his wife; two brothers, Charlie Louder, Pinedale, Wyoming, and Seth Louder, Russell; two sisters, Carrie Larsen, Lincoln, and Ina Couse, Salina.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2001, at First Southern Baptist Church, Russell, with Pastor Leon Irwin officiating.

Burial will follow at Russell City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, August 17, at Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell, and from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Saturday, August 18 at the church.
Memorials are suggested to first Southern Baptist Church in care of the mortuary.
