Obituary of JOHN KRUG

John Krug, 89, 1315 N. West St., died Friday, June 3, (1983), at his home. He was born Dec. 31, 1894, in Russell County to J. J. and Anna (Boxberger) Krug.

He married Pauline Morgenstern in Russell May 21, 1915. She survives.
He farmed 40 years and moved to Wichita in 1942. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wichita, and the American Legion, William Roe Post 99, from time of organization. During World War II he worked for Boeing Aircraft Company and then retired again.

Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Marvin S., Wichita, and Marcus J. of Dallas, who are twins, and W. Clyde, Wichita; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; a niece, Vera Krug, Russell; many other relatives in the Russell and Milberger areas.

Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, 611 South Erie, Wichita, at 1:30 p.m. today, June 6. Rev. Allen Goebert will officiate. Interment will be in White Chapel Cemetery.
Graveside military rites will be by one of the American Legion Posts in Wichita.  A memorial is to Trinity Lutheran Church, Wichita.
