Obituary of JONATHAN STEINERT
Jonathan Steinert, 94, died Monday (4 March 1985) at the Russell Kare Center. He was born April 18, 1890, in Barton County to Conrad and Barbara (Rush) Steinert. 

He was a longtime Russell resident and a retired farmer and carpenter. He lived for a number of years in the Milberger community and moved to Russell in 1937, where he took up the carpentry and cabinetmaking trade.

He married Eugenia Morgenstern Nov. 8, 1908. She died Aug. 1, 1968.
Survivors are two sons, Hubert, Longmont, Colo., and Lavern of the home; four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife, one son, and two daughters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Cline's All Faith Chapel. Rev. James Strasen officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at Milberger. Cline Funeral Home was in charge.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
A memorial is to the Golden Belt Home Health Care, Great Bend.
