| Obituary of KATHERINE ELIZABETH STRECKER |
| Katherine Elizabeth Strecker, 85, died Sunday (19
November 1978) at Ness City Hospital. Born Katherine Elizabeth Mehler,
April 16, 1893 at Russell, she married Herman Strecker in May, 1913, at
Russell, He died May 20, 1965. She lived here most of her life. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Ness City. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Bernice Prayer, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Carol Sullivan, Louisville, Ky.; sisters, Mrs. Lydia Reinhardt, Bison; Mrs. Pauline Dean, Silver City, N. M.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday at Fitzgeral's Funeral Home, Ness City, with the Rev. Jack Kersenbrock officiating. Burial was in the Bazine Cemetery. |
