Obituary of LEROY H. KRUG
LeRoy H. Krug, 75, Freer, Texas, died at Alice Texas, Sunday, March 23, 2002.

He was born May 25, 1926, at Russell, the son of Henry and Katherine "Katie" Schaat Krug.

LeRoy attended school in Russell and was baptized and confirmed in St. John Lutheran Church, Russell. He worked at many different jobs and went to the oil fields at numerous locations until his health failed. He retied in Freer, Texas, in the early 1980's.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Isabel Barnes and Mildred Stevens; and a brother, Edwin Krug.

Survivors include: three stepsons, J.R. Buck, Kingsville, Texas, C. W. Buck, Austin, Texas and Butch Buck, LaGrange, Texas; two adopted sons, Rodney and Howard Krug; two sisters, Rodney and Howard Krug; two sisters, Alvina Kilian, Russell and Dorothy Bell, Sherwood, Illinois; and four step-grandchildren.

Internment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Russell
