NAME, DATE OF DEATH: Leah L. Barton, 78, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, at the Russell Regional Hospital.

DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: Oct. 16, 1922, in Lake City, Kansas

PARENTS: Charles and Bessie (Swenton) Strain

SURVIVORS: A son, Lonnie Barton, Russell; a daughter, Valerie Brown, DeSoto, Texas; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: A brother, Albert Strain; and two sisters, LaVada Barton and Irene Jenkins
