Obituary of EDWARD WILLIAM LUERMAN
Edward William Luerman, 78, died Wednesday (27 December 1978), in the Russell City Hospital. He was born June 28, 1900 in Dubuque. He married Alvena Dick June 25, 1931, in Dorrance. He was a farmer and a lifetime area resident.

He was a member of the United Emanual Lutheran Church of Milberger.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Bitter of Hoisington and Mrs. Erna Kilian of Russell; one brother, John of Russell; two sisters, Mrs. Tilly Ruby of Russell and Mrs. Lena Meier of Bunker Hill; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be a 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Robert Kreier officiating. Burial will be in the Cross Plains Cemetery in Russell County. Friends may call until noon Saturday at the Pohlman's Mortuary in Russell. The family suggests memorials to the Martin Luther Home in Beatrice. Neb.
