12 September 1962
Funeral Card of PAULINE MARGHEIM
MRS. PAULINE MARGHEIM
The daughter of Jacob and Amelia Becker, nee Strecker, was born July 25, 1887 at the farm home south of Russell, Kansas. She departed this life on September 12, 1962 at the Miner Haven of Rest Home in Osborne, Kansas. Her age was 75 years.

In early infancy she was baptized and later, after becoming of age she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended Elementary rural school as a young girl and after attaining womanhood she was united in marriage to Fred Margheim. There were two children born to this marriage, Arthur and Lavene.

Arthur preceded her in death several years ago. Lavene of Russell, survives her. After their marriage they engaged in farming in north Barton and south Russell counties. Later they moved to Russell to make their home. In 1934 her husband passed away. She was not in the best of health during her lifetime, but never complained. About three years ago old age and other infirmities made it necessary to enter a nursing home.

Here she enjoyed the companionship of other people in the same plight as herself and according to the management of the home she was loved and respected by the patients and staff.

To treasure her memory are the son, already mentioned; one brother, Emanuel Becker, Russell; five sisters, Mrs. Ernestine Keil, Great Bend; Mrs. Leah Himes, Russell; Mrs. Laura Stoppel, Long Beach Calif.; Miss Eleanora Becker, Russell; and Mrs. Georgina Borrell, Dighton, Kansas. Also seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
