Obituary of MAE L. BENDER
Mae L. Bender, 90, Russell, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at Russell Regional Hospital, Russell.
She was born January 12, 1912, the daughter of John and Anna Klaus Eberly, She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Russell area.

She married Edward E. Bender, August 4, 1932, at Russell. He died February 14, 1999.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Russell.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and her son, Eddie Bender.

Survivors include: two sisters, Doris Boos and Henny Ross, both of Hays; one grandchild; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 17, at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, Russell, with Fr. Charles Steier officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Russell.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 16 and from 9 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Wheatland Nursing Center, Russell.
