Obituary of PAULINE BECKER
Pauline Becker, 93, a longtime Russell resident, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Integrated Health Service, Great Bend.

She was born January 13, 1909, in Ness County, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Uffelmann Karst.
Pauline married George Becker December 18, 1949 at Galatia. He died March 4, 1998.

She lived her early life in Ness and Barton counties, received her nursing training at St. Rose Dominican Nursing School at Great Bend, and worked at Russell Regional Hospital for many years.

Pauline was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and VFW Auxiliary, both of Russell.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, four brothers, Alex, Edward, Benjamin and Ted Karst, four sisters, Millie Clayton, Lydia Ohman, Millie Karst, and Marie Funk.

Survivors include: one brother, Edwin Karst, Great Bend.

The body was cremated, memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church, Russell.

Pohlman's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
