Mittie Evans

Died: Miss Mittie Evans, aged twenty-two years, died of brain fever, Nov. 27th, at her home nine miles northwest of Alva, and was taken to Lake City, Kansas for burial beside a twin sister who died there about eight years ago.

She was a dutiful daughter, of a lovable disposition, and the bereaved parents - Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Evans - have the sincere sympathy of thousands of friends in Barber and Woods counties in this their great bereavement. (Alva Pioneer)
