ROCKY POINT: So many pretty girls and still Ben Holeman batches.
Louis White and wife were visiting the latter’s parents Sunday.
Died: Cora C. Guy died at her home February 13, 1902, of Consumption. She leaves a small baby a husband four brothers and three sisters to mourn her loss. Cora was a good kind woman and was well respected and liked by all who knew her.
EVE: Mrs. Eve Davis spent Tuesday with her brother S. Holeman.
Mrs. Josie Hedrick spent Monday with her sister Mrs. Berry.
TURKEY CREEK: Wm. Anderson and daughter Viola, and Mrs. M.E., Mattie and Nannie Anderson and Mona McQueen spent Sunday at Mrs. Andersons.
UNIONTOWN: Mrs. S.L. Pike and children came up from Erie Saturday night to visit relatives.
Mr. Barlow and family arrived from Missouri Friday morning. He has purchased the Waters property.
We are sorry to learn that Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Morris and mother will leave for Wichita Saturday morning.
D.L. Dark was up from Pawnee Friday afternoon.
Mrs. W.J. Waters of LaHarpe is visiting her mother Mrs. T.B. Julian.
OSAGE VALLEY: Mrs. Mollie Shively visited her parents in Iola this week.
We are grieved to report the death of Mrs. Alice MaHaney, nee Wolfe, which occurred at her home near this place Thursday. She leaves a husband, three small children, and many relatives and friends, to whom her going has caused many a sharp heartache. The young husband and children will return to Wichita tomorrow, with his mother, sister and brother who were called to attend the burial, when she was laid to rest in the Osage Valley Cemetery beside her mother and sister awaiting the resurrection morn.
