Montgomery, Lillie A Zimmerman

DEATH OF MRS. HARRY MONTGOMERY

Mrs. Harry Montgomery died at the Newman Memorial Hospital in Emporia Tuesday afternoon, December 25th, and the funeral services were held the following Friday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church in Emporia, conducted by Rev. W. S. Dando, the pastor.

Mr. Montgomery was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Montgomery who used to live here. For many years the Montgomery family lived on the Scribner farm north of this city and also on the Harder farm west of the city. Harry was raised here and moved to Lyon county from this place when the Montgomery family located there a good many years ago. He was married there and he and his family had since made that their home.
B Mrs. Montgomery's maiden name was Lillie A. Zimmerman. Besides her husband she leaves two children, Donald age 6 and Margaret Jean who is 2 years of age. The Harry Montgomery family live at 428 South Market Street. Mrs. Montgomery is also survived by her sister, Mrs. John Montgomery, wife of Harry's older brother. The two brothers married sisters.
