Harold L Ransford

MONTROSE — Funeral services for Harold L. Ransford, 45, will be held Thursday afternoon in the Woods Mortuary at Golden. Burial will be In Fort Logan Military Cemetery at Fort Logan. Local arrangements were made by Conley Chapel.

A truck driver by occupation, Mr. Ransford had been at Collbran one week. He died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, Mar. 12, 1960 in a Collbran hotel of a heart attack. He had been a resident of Colorado 39 years.

Mr. Ransford was born May 2, 1914, at Cottonwood Falls, Kan., A son of Joe and Elsie Baldwin Ransford. He married Clara Wilson at Raton, N.M., June 1, 1940. Surviving are his wife: two, daughters. Shirley Ransford of Golden and Patricia Ransford, in California; three sisters, Mrs. Maybe1le Matzke of Parker, Mrs. Martha Spencer of Pierre, S.D., and Mrs. Maxine Baker of Golden: and two half-brothers, Leroy Jacob of Newton. Kan,. and John Jacob of Vancouuver, Wash.
