Wallace, Nannie

OLD CHASE COUNTY RESIDENT DIED IN AUTOMOBILE CRASH

The San Francisco Examiner of August 30, tells of the sudden death of Mrs. Nannie Wallace, of Eureka, California, Monday, August 29, when the automobile in which she and her husband were riding went over a steep grade on the Eel river. She was thrown clear of the car and rolled down the embankment. Her husband carried her back to the road and she died in his arms on the way to the hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace are old residents of Stribby Creek in this county. They moved to California about three years ago after Mr. Wallace and retired from active farming. Mrs. Wallace was 62 years old.
