Looking for info on Isaac Edwards family in Chautauqua county. Father was Abdon Edwards. Isaac was KS civil war vet. Born Indiana 1833. Married Martha Elizabeth KELSEY in Missouri in 1854. William A. born Missouri 1855. Not sure when moved to KS. Other children Sarah, Thomas, Arnold, Howard, Laura Belle, Earnest.

I am trying to find some info on my great-great grandparents, Mathias Gainey and Alvinia PITT Gainey. I know they had three children born in Chautauqua county: Charles N. born Nov. 23,1879; Annie Laurie, born Jan.4,1882 and Maudie May, born April 11,1886 and died Feb.10,1899. I don't know where or when Mathias and Alvinia died. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Seek information about John HARDEN, who appeared on 1870 Chautauqua County Census (it was still Howard Co. in 1870), born about 1838 in TN. Wife Rebecca, born about 1840 in MO. Children: Mary, Robert Henry, Segal, Sarah Louise, Melissa Jane, and Amanda Kathrine. He listed his occupation as farmer.

I am searching for information on my GGrandmother Nancy M. Harrington WAGNER/WAGONER HAMAKER. Nancy first marriage was to George Thomas Wagner who was killed during the Civil War. Her second marriage was to Charles Hamaker. He is possibly the Charles Hamaker listed in the 1883 Civil War Veterans list as living in Matanzas. Nancy died around April 23, 1890. I believe she may be buried in Chautauqua County. I would like to know more about this family. My connection is through her first marriage. My Grandfather was her oldest son.

Tina May Tincher CAMP, my grandmother, had a brother, Lewis Spencer Tincher whom we called "Uncle Lew." He lived with John and Meryl Camp of Sedan. Years ago he lived on a farm north and east of Sedan. Can someone give me directions on how to get to this place??? I am also looking for pictures and stories of the Camps,Tinchers and other related families.

All I have is Thomas Benton Woodson lived in Chautauqua County, KS. around 1880-1920. He was married to a Mary Anne KATHRENS from St. Joseph, Buchanan, MO. My grandfather says he is buried in "Cedar Vale". I assume this is the Cemetery. He is not listed in the online version but I understand that a tornado moved a lot of the stones so that listing is not complete. Children that we knew of were raised in Dickinson County by their mother, ODA/OTA Woodson and Robert Woodson. Oda died in Abilene, KS.
