Looking for any info on an Alice Harris from Cherokee County Kansas. Her father was a Federal Marshal of Indian heritage for the railroad in Cherokee county. Her mother died and due to her fathers work and where they lived at she was taken to live with friends in Illinois. Her name was Harris. But I'm not sure it wasn't a name she was given due to growing up with another family
Does anyone know how I could trace her father thru the railroad or any other means to track her family.

From: Catherine Dorsey cmdorsey@hotmail.com

I am researching the George and Mary Kronschnabel family. The name is spelled Kronschnabler on the 1880 census for Cherokee, Kansas. George is listed with his son Max on the 1885 census. I would like information as to when Mary died and where she is buried. Are there any marriage records for Max, Mary, Lena, Rosa and Louisa. The 1900 census has George living with his dau Louisa and Husband John Eckert in Joplin Co, MO. George died in 1903 in Texas, I think. I have no death date or place of Death. George was born in Bavaria in 1926/7. He arrived in the states in 1848 settling in Ohio. Marriage records, and/or obits for George and Mary. Catherine Dorsey, email address is cmdorsey@hotmail.com

Hello. I'm looking for information on the family of Zachariah Stark and his wife Deborah McKnight-Umphrey-Stark,
Zachariah was probably born in Cass, MO but Dec 27, 1876 he married Deborah Knight-Umphrey, widow of Samuel Umphrey.
They had one daughter Rose Marie Stark born Jan 15 1880 in Linn Co., KS.
Deborah died Apr 19 1880 in La Cygne, Linn Co., KS.
Zachariah seems to have fallen off the face of the planet as I can find no 1880 Census for him and/or Deborah.
Rose Marie Stark was in Galena Cherokee Co., by before 1895 where she married Arthur Scott Adams.
Any information would be helpful.
Thank you!

Does anyone have information on Charles W. Linn, wife Malia and children Russell, Ella, Frances, Marguerite and Dorothy? He was a carpenter Ð Mill work (from the 1910 census).
I found Charles and whole family listed on the 1910 Garden Twp., Cherokee Co., KS Census. I found all but Russell on the 1915 Kansas census for Galena, Cherokee County and Charles, Malia, Frances, Marguerite and Dorothy on the 1920 Galena Ward 3, Cherokee Co., KS Census. I can't find any of them anywhere in 1930.
Through the Cherokee County site I did find a Frank M and M. Ann Linn on 1930 Cherokee Co. Census. I don't know who they are but if anyone does, I would like to know more about them.
Thank you!
