DIES SUDDENLY.

B. H. Killion died Saturday. The funeral services will be held at his late home, 1629 South Evergreen avenue at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Elder G. W. Kitchen, pastor of the Christian church, will conduct the services. Friends of the family wishing to take a last look at the body may do so by calling at the home tomorrow morning between the hours of 9 and 11 o’clock. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery. The Grand Army of the Republic will have charge of the services in the cemetery.

Mr. Killion was 68 years of age. He had lived in Kansas for a long time. During the war he served in the Union army, being in Illinois regiments. He is survived by a wife and four daughters. The family is all here except the eldest daughter, Mrs. J. C. Williams, who is now on her way home from Colorado, where she went for an outing. The funeral was postponed to Wednesday on her account. Mr. Killion’s death was the first one which has occurred in the family, except for that of his one son, who died while a child.

Mr. Killion died in Gallatin, Mo., where he had gone to visit his brother. He left home apparently in his usual good health, and just a few days ago the members of the family here received a letter from him, in which he said that he was feeling fine and enjoying himself immensely. The next tidings was a telegram which came Saturday evening, announcing his death.
