FUNERAL OF COL. MCLAUGHLIN

The funeral of Colonel J. A. McLaughlin took place this morning at 10 o’clock from the residence, No. 1018 Topeka avenue. Rev. L. Blakesley, pastor of the First Congregational Church, conducted the services. Lincoln post, Shawnee lodge I. O. O. F. and the Patriarchs militant, to all of which orders the deceased belonged, attended in a body. There was also a large attendance of friends. The pall bearers were from the orders named, two from each. At the cemetery, the services were conducted by both the G. A. R., and the I. O. O. F., according to their respective rites.
