Email: mark.eitzen@ey.com
Mailing address (optional): Query: I am seeking information about a family who apparently lived in Decatur Co., KS about the turn of the century (1900). Peter J. EITZEN (b. Feb 1850 in Holstein, Germany) and his wife Anna Margret Haney (b. Jul 1853 in Iowa) and their children apparently lived in Decatur Co. for a few years. In 1900, they lived in Thomas Co. and by 1910, they had moved to southwest Kansas (Cherokee Co.). However, at least one of their children, Ida Lon Eitzen seems to have stayed behind and married someone from Decatur Co. (Frederick Lemarr). Does anyone have any information on this or any related families? I am descended from one of the children, George Eitzen and would be happy to share information with anyone who knows anything about this family. |
