I have just found the 1909 marriage record of Jasper N. Murry and Mary Lee in Sedgwick County. It lists Howard as his address. Whom I am really looking for is Jasper's daughter by an earlier marriage, Mary Carrie Lies (husband Robert; daughter Mary Jane). I know she still lived with her father in 1900 in Coffey County; I am hoping that when her older brother Elmer moved to Montana in 1905, Jasper or Mary Carrie moved to be close to the other. So. . . any Lies in Elk County.
P. S. I'm told that I can be confusing at times. Please let me know if I don't make sense. :-)

Children of William C. and Mary A.
Myrtle b. July 1889
James b. Feb. 1891
Flora b. Dec. 1892
Joseph b. Mar 1895

In 1866 William C. was in Vernon Co MO. In 1870 Census living in Osage Twp. Vernon Co. In 1879 he bought property in Longton, Elk Co. KS. 1880 he sold the land in Longton,Caroline's name in on the bill of sale, and was back in Vernon Co. for the 1880 Census. 1900 soundex states that William C. was living in Dove Twp. Vernon Co. Mo with wife Mary A. and their children. I believe William C. died between 1900-1910 as he is not in the census in 1910.

I think that William C. KEITH b. 1836 could be the son of William C. KEITH b. 1809 of Switzerland Co. Indiana, but have yet to find the proof that this is correct.

If you know of these two families of William C. KEITH please contact me. I am willing to share what I know.
