HOFFMAN, OGLE

Looking for information and descendants of Sarah Rachel OGLE b 8-19-1868 d 9-21-1957 in Bucklin, Ford County, Kansas. She married Martin William HOFFMAN and lived in Bucklin, Ford County during the early 1900's until her death. Her parents were Cummins and Susan (KEISER) OGLE. She had a brother James E. OGLE who married Martin's sister, Maria (Mary) HOFFMAN.

KOONTZ, ROBERTS

Lloyd Hunt and Mae Captore (GARDENER) KOONTZ lived and died in the Dodge City, Ford County area.  Most all of their children were born there. I have some information on them but am looking for more.  Both Lloyd and Mae were born in Missouri. William and Nancy Belle (GRIFFITH) ROBERTS lived in Stafford County around the late 1800's and into the early 1900's. Some of their children were born in Stafford County. I have some information on them and am looking for more. Am willing to share what little I have.

WILCOXEN, SPENCER

I am researching the WILCOXEN Family of Ford County.  William Thomas WILCOXEN and his brother George Horton WILCOXEN, along with their mother, Lauranna (SPENCER) WILCOXEN and their families came to Ford County in about 1884 and settled near the town of Ford.  I am looking to correspond with all descendants.  I have lots of family information to share.  Some of the families that the WILCOXEN's married into are; REYNOLDS, TUCKER, IMBODEN, and BERRY.

KISSEL, HUGHES, UPP, McNAUGHT

Looking for connections or more information on the families of Emanuel M. KISSEL and his wife Eliza Jane (HUGHES) KISSEL. She was the daughter of Gideon HUGHES and Jane (McNAUGHT) HUGHES. Eliza Jane had a sister Elizabeth M. HUGHES and these folks are buried in the Silent Land Cemetery just up the road from the Circle K on Highway 50 at Spearville, Ford County, Kansas.

Also interested in the UPP family. Jessie Pauline KISSEL married a man named Mr. UPP. Thanks

THOMAS, TAYLOR

My ggrandfather T. J. TAYLOR and his wife Angeline moved to Ford County in 1898, from Missouri. They lived in Bucklin until 1912. My grandmother Mary Susan Ethel TAYLOR married Frank Howard THOMAS from Bucklin. T. J. worked for the Railroad. They also ran a Restaurant and Boardinghouse.  Frank THOMAS came from Indiana, his father was John THOMAS, mother Julia.  They moved to Pratt, Kansas in 1912. Are there any ancestors out there? HELP

Looking for any information on the families of Daniel SUGHRUE, P. H. SUGHRUE, Pat & Mike SUGHRUE.  Pat and Mike were Sheriffs of Dodge City, Ford County, in the 1880's.
