I am attempting to locate the parents of John Welborn CLARK, b. abt 1893 KS per the 1920 Clark Co., OH census. I suspect he may have been the son of John T. and Thulia CLARK. Their son, John W., was born Mar. 1892 per the 1900 census. Per the 1910 soundex, he was their only child.

Topic: Photos from Jewell County
From: Dennis McIndoo dmcindoo@email.msn.com
Date: Wednesday, November 24, 1999 10:37 AM

My great grandfather James Edward McIndoo and his wife Cora Angeline (Winslow) McIndoo lived in the Esbon, Northbranch area in the late 1800's and early 1900's until their deaths in 1930 and 1939 respectively. My grandfather, Ray Nathan McIndoo, was raised there and married Theda Minona Aubushon, in Red Cloud, Nebraska, which is just across the state line in Nebraska. They lived around the Northbranch, Esbon area until the Dust Bowl days, about 1937. During that time she took a lot of photos and have different school manuscripts of the area. I am trying to identify people in photos. My grandmother and grandmother have passed away, but I am trying to use aunts to help me in this endeavor. There are a good amount of people who moved here in Idaho from the Jewell County area, and will be using them also to help. I have only begun this site and only a few photos are showing but believe me, there will probably be many in the near future, including images of not only photos but some manuscripts. You have permission to copy the images, and because of compression the quality may not be the best but if you would like I would be glad to send the images in higher quality, at this time, at no cost. The site is at.. http://millennium.fortunecity.com/briarwood/533/jewellcounty/jewell.htm

All I ask is that you let me know that you have visited the site and let me know if you can help on names, and if you enjoyed the site. Let me repeat that this will be getting larger at least weekly, if not every few days. I have the McIndoo family tree in the area pretty well covered but am also interested in the Winslow, Horton, Aubushon info of Jewell County. 11/30/99 update. Those who have trouble with the link above can see the same page at
